Headington campus pictured through time

Today, Oxford Brookes’ Headington Campus is almost unrecognisable from when it was first built in the 1950s as the main site of our predecessor institution, the Oxford College for Technology.

In actual fact, little changed from the 1960s through the Oxford Polytchnic days of the 70s and 80s, or in the early days of Oxford Brookes University from 1992 to the 2000s. But in recent years the campus has been radically transformed to befit a great modern university.
