World-renowned chef Ken Hom, an Honorary Graduate of Oxford Brookes, cooked up a storm at the University’s OutBurst festival in May.
A leading authority on Chinese cuisine Ken hosted a live cooking demonstration and talked about his life in food. Ken is also the Founding Patron of Oxford Gastronomica, the Centre for Food, Drink and Culture at Oxford Brookes.
OutBurst is a popular festival, now in its sixth year, held at Oxford’s Pegasus Theatre. It brings great ideas, activities and entertainment from the University right to the doorstep of the local community.
Other highlights from this year’s festival included an opportunity to try furniture design, relaxing with a tai chi taster session and painting in virtual reality.
OutBurst 2018 will take place 19-21 April.
