We are delighted to be launching a new programme for alumni in November. ‘Brookes in the City’ is a series of events, initially in London, that will provide an opportunity for alumni to come together to hear from fellow graduates and friends of Brookes about a key topic of interest, current thinking, trends, issues and innovations that impact our world.

The first sell-out event is to be held at The Shard, London. The Business of Sport - What can business leaders learn from sports leadership? will be hosted by Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Business School, Chris Blackburn. A panel of alumni and friends of Oxford Brookes, comprising Darryl Eales, Chairman, Oxford United, Charles McEwen ’98, COO, British and Irish Lions, Nicola Salter ’00, HR Director, Williams Martini Racing and Sir David Tanner CBE, Performance Director, British Rowing, will join a discussion to share their experiences gained from their unique work environments.

The 2018 programme will start with another London-based event in April at the Malmaison Charterhouse Hotel. The focus of this event will be ‘Women in Innovation’. Details and how to register will be on the alumni website soon.

Westminster College alumni rekindled friendships and shared memories at the Harcourt Hill Campus.
